Who We Are
An independent
voice for accountable
mining.
Lands and Mines Watch Ghana (LMWG) is a prominent civil society organisation focused on the sustainable management of Ghana's extractive and land sectors — as a watchdog for transparency, local content, and national interest.
We monitor the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources and the Minerals Commission, press for competitive and transparent licensing, and support reforms such as the Land Bank and Digitalization Project. We work independently, answering to the communities we serve and the evidence we find.
